Blizzard of 2009

These two pictures are so blurry because I took them through the window.
Well, it snowed and snowed and snowed for Sydney's birthday. We ventured into the backyard for a little while yesterday and today. I should really invest in some more snow clothes for the children. It just doesn't snow that much and I hate to have to buy new clothes every year to only be worn once but I think I am just going to have to break down and do it.

Fun Times!

4 Years Old!!!

Well, my baby girl is 4 years old! I can't believe how quickly time flies. The older I get the faster it goes.
Sydney showing us how old she is.

Logan wanted to help open her presents so badly that he opened up some of the Christmas presents under the tree. Needless to say that we no longer have any presents under our tree.

It snowed for Sydney's birthday, or at least that is what we told her because she LOVES to play in the snow. It didn't just kinda of snow, it snowed and snowed and snowed! We got a little over a foot and were snowed in all day. Since we were stuck in the house and since it was her birthday Sydney declared it a PJ day and we didn't object. It was nice to have no place to go and nothing to do but spend time together. It was a great day for a birthday!
I hope that you had a great birthday sweet girl. We love you!

Love It!

Such a cute picture of Sydney feeding Noah the other day. I just love it! It is so nice that she is old enough to help out a little.

First Snow

It snowed for the first time on Saturday here and Sydney could hardly wait to go outside. Finally Noah decided to take a nap so I took the kids out for a little while. It takes 30 minutes to get them ready, and at least 30 minutes to clean up after we get back in. So, sometimes I find I am a spoil sport when it comes to playing in the snow. But, I braved it and we ended up having a fun time.
So excited to get out there:
Snow will bring out the boogers!
Sydney wanted to make a snowduck instead of a snowman:

What a Great Great-Grandma!

We spent the week of Thanksgiving at my parents house and this year we were blessed to be able to have my grandmother there with us. It was extra special because she got to meet Noah and my sisters twins for the first time. I was a slacker about taking pictures but I did manage to snap this one of her holding the "triplets." Sometimes I refer to Noah, and the twins as the triplets since they are only three and a half weeks apart.

Noah looks so much older here but I am sure these guys will catch up in no time!
