Here is Logan. He has grown up soo much lately. He kicked his binky habit and can now pee and poop on the potty! Thank goodness! Some days I am a little sad that he is getting so big, but really he will always be my "little man."

Keeping Watch
Sadly both of our fish died this week. Sydney kept vigil by their bowl most of the day. We could tell that something wasn't right and knew they probably wouldn't make it much longer. Sydney was really sad to learn that we weren't going to take them to the vet. We did promise to get a new fish soon if they both died.
We flushed them after they died and I thought there might be some tears, but nope! They just waved as they swirled down the potty. At least it wasn't too traumatic.

Keeping Cool
Well, Louisiana is HOT!!! I am sure everyone already knew this but I just needed to remind you. So, we got a little pool to try and beat the heat. The kids have been enjoying ti and pretty soon it will be the only tolerable thing to do outdoors because I can tell it will be too hot to run around outside for long with out a way to cool off. Here are my beautiful kids enjoying the pool.

Every So Often
Every once in a while they all disappear and I find them playing together...nicely. This is certainly not the norm so I had to capture it on film.
I love it when they do that!

Getting Big!
My sweet girl had Kindergarten registration the other day. I can't believe that in just a few months she will start school! She was sooo excited and a little disappointed that she wouldn't be going to school right away. She doesn't want to wait until the fall.
Here she is with her name tag on after registration. So big. Man, time flies!

Trouble!!!
My little Noah is trouble lately! He seems to be into everything. I came into the kitchen the other day and found him eating butter. Great!
That made for one greasy floor.
He is also really into these dress up high heel shoes Sydney got for her birthday. Whenever the children play dress up he grabs these and keeps them on for hours! Too funny.

Breathing Easy
Noah's breathing has seemed to improve some over the past few weeks. He is now on a breathing treatment twice a day for asthma prevention. The allergist has finally officially diagnosed his with asthma. We have also learned that he is allergic to beef and pork in addition to the nuts, eggs, cats, dogs, and numerous molds. On the bright side he is only mildly allergic to the beef and pork and he is no longer allergic to milk so he can have dairy food again and drink the much cheaper cow's milk instead of rice milk! :)
Here is our little trooper getting one of his treatments. He is normally pretty well behaved for them and will sit still until they are over. Sometimes we use a mask for them and he will generally hold it up over his nose and mouth all by himself. It is a little sad that he has had to learn this so early. Hopefully he will outgrow it soon!

30 Years OLD!!!!!!
It's official...I'm old!
I turned 30 on April 25th. I wasn't too excited about it but the kids and Heath managed to make the day fun and I almost forgot how old I was. Heath made me one of my favorites...a chocolate sheet cake. We also had this seriously yummy banana pudding ice cream that everyone should try. I try not to post pictures of myself too much but here is one of me blowing out my candles.
I have had a great first 30 years and am excited to see what my next 30 years have in store for me.

Easter 2011
The Easter Bunny made a stop at our house this year for Easter. Too bad this is the only picture of the whole day that I got. They loved it though and had lots of fun eating candy before going to church! The individual bags of cheetos were probably the favorite!

Not Again!!!!
Yep, it happened again. Noah was in the hospital for three days/two nights last week. With what? Pneumonia, yep nothing but the breathing troubles for that kid. If you ask me, he has asthma. But, I am just the mom and they don't like to officially diagnose anyone with asthma until they are two. So, we wait.
Fortunately Noah is back to himself and breathing easy. I do think he gets a little winded more quickly than before but other than that he is doing great. They have decided to put him on a preventative medicine twice a day to hopefully keep us from making any more return trips to the hospital. Let's pray it works! Let's also pray that we don't have to make any trips to the hospital for a LONG LONG time. We have been there WAY TOO MUCH lately!!!

Just when I am about to lose it...
Every night just when I am about to lose it they finally fall asleep and I sneak in to make sure that each toe is covered. This is when I am content and when all is right in my little world and I say a quick prayer to thank my Heavenly Father for my most treasured blessings.
They look so peaceful and angelic that sometimes I think "man, I could have ten of them!" Then they wake up and we do it all over again. :)

Get Out Of There!!!!
Noah is at that age where he is just naturally curious about EVERYTHING!!!!! This is where I found him just the other day.
Nice! We have since had to tape the door shut with masking tape which usually deters him long enough for me to get to him first.
Here he is just being his normal silly self (notice that he is posing for this first one...what a funny guy, he doesn't really look like this too much.). Man do I love this little boy!

Just Eating Dinner
The other night while eating dinner I choked on a piece of chicken. Do not be alarmed, it caused me no real breathing difficulty but it was indeed, most definitely STUCK!!! So stuck in fact that I could get nothing past it. No water, food, or even my own saliva wouldn't go past it. As a result I began to vomit (spit up really) every few minutes because my spit would build up behind it to the point that it would trigger my gag reflex and I would spit it all up. The process would repeat it self over and over and over again. All my attempts to remedy the chicken failed and I was left with no good option. I called the nurse line for my insurance and after a quick laugh she encouraged me to go to the ER. This is NOT something I wanted to do. How embarrassing....I just didn't want to go to the ER. I simply hoped that time would cure the problem. So, I waited and waited, and spit up and waited some more. Finally around 11pm, I decided that I had no alternative and that probably soon I would need to eat and drink again so I drove myself to the ER. After spending almost five hours there. They determined that I had indeed gotten a piece of something STUCK in my esophagus.
Since, the hospital here is tiny I was sent about an hour away to a hospital better equipped to quickly deal with my dilemma. The new hospital moved quickly and soon I was asleep in out patient surgery for a quick procedure to remove that darn piece of chicken. I returned home to my sweet babies who had been busy making me get will cards and such. Here are just a few of the sweet things they made for me to help me feel better.
Thanks guys, these made all the difference!

The Cost of a Shower
What is a shower worth? I am not quite sure it is worth this!
Noah was busy while I was trying to take a five minute shower. Showers may have just become a luxury I very literally can't afford!

When Zhu Zhu Pets Attack!
On the bottom of each zhu zhu pet is a warning to keep away from hair. Well, they mean it! Sydney learned this lesson the hard way. She came screaming to me telling me that "it won't stop, it won't stop." Sadly, the only solution was to cut it out of her hair. Thankfully, it wasn't too big of a chunk of hair. So, be forewarned. Those zhu zhu pets can get you, especially if you are a little girl!

"I did it myself"
We went to a baptism the other day and Sydney came out of the bathroom and told me she was ready to go. I asked her who had done her hair and she responded with "I did it myself." I just had to smile at my little girl who is growing up way too fast! She even decided to put on her "play" makeup and add an accessorizing scarf! Way to go babe, you look beautiful!

All Put Away
...Or mostly put away. Here are some pictures of the house with most of our stuff put away and some pictures and such up.

Above Sydney's bed (these have since been pulled off and scattered around - man, those stickers just don't last long!)
Above Logan's bed:
By the way, those wall stickers were super cheap. Logan's and Noah's were both at the dollar store and Sydney's was on 90% off at Target. So, if they get pulled down I won't hyperventilate. :)
