Loving Logan!!!

We love having Logan in our family. He is a very sweet and lovable little boy. Each day he is doing something new. He likes to be tickled and he really likes to play with balloons. He also likes to be naked. In fact, whenever he gets fussy if you change his diaper he normally quiets right down and begins to laugh. Even with his love for nudity if you add a little water our little man is in heaven. He absolutely loves to take a bath! He would be perfectly content to stay in a warm bath all day long if we let him.

Logan has been a little sick lately with a nasty cold and ear infections. It has been really sad to watch him feel so terrible and we hope that he is back to his normal smiley self soon. We love you Logan!

Best Friends

Sydney has become really good friends with this little girl that I babysit. Aren't they cute!

White Lies

The other morning Sydney asked for waffles for breakfast. Two minutes after I made them for her she told me she was all done and asked for chocolate. (That Easter Bunny brought way too much chocolate, I will have to tell her not to bring so much next year.) I told her "no chocolate" and told her to finish her waffles. I went upstairs for a few minutes and moments later Sydney was at my heels. I asked her if she ate her waffles and she responded, "waffles all gone." A few minutes later I went downstairs to discover this scene on the table.

Looks like she finished her waffles doesn't it. Well, a little peek under that place mat revealed this:

Looks like she didn't quite eat those waffles "all gone."

Riding in Style

Well, we finally gave in and bought a minivan a few weeks ago. We actually love it! There is so much more room and getting the children in and out of their seats is much easier. Traveling will be much more pleasant. We bought it off of Ebay, actually we bought 3 vans off Ebay and this was the one that stuck. The first one was sold on the lot after we put in our winning bid but before the seller knew about it. The second one ended up having some title issues so we decided to back out and like the old saying goes, the third one was a charm. Heath and my brother went up to Philadelphia to pick it up. It is a 2002 Chrysler Town and Country. Here are a few pictures:

Easter Morning

We had a pretty low key Easter day together as a family. We went to church, dyed eggs, and ate some yummy ham. We also ate lots and lots of chocolate thanks to the Easter Bunny. Sydney no longer uses her binky! She collected all of them and left them out for the Easter Bunny to take. Sure enough the Easter Bunny swapped out the binkies for an Easter Basket filled with goodies. If you ask Sydney what happened to her binkies she says, "All gone now, Rabbit take binkies, all gone." No matter how I protest she just keeps getting bigger! We love watching her grow and learn but some days it just seems to be flying by! We are so grateful to be a family and to have our sweet children. What a blessed life we live!

Laughter

Our children keep us laughing almost constantly. Logan has started playing with toys and laughing whenever possible. He is a sweet little boy and will smile at anything that moves near him. Sydney keeps us laughing with her funny speech and silly view of the world. We love them and can't imagine our lives without them.

Chuckie's House....

Last night we decided to take Sydney to Chuckie Cheese's. We went with some of our friends who have a little girl around Sydney's age. The kids had a great time, but lets just say that I don't think any of the parent's are planning a return trip anytime soon. It must have been 80 degrees in that place and I am sure that it must be some sort of fire code violation to have that many people in one room. Sydney's favorite thing was to put the "money" (tokens) into each game. Logan had a good time because there was lots going on and lots to look at. Here are a few pictures we snapped while we were there.

Wrong Feet

Sydney got a new pair of shoes from Aunt Amanda this past Christmas and she really likes them because she can put them on all by herself. Here is a picture of them on after she "did it myself." Notice that they are on over top of her pajamas and on the wrong feet. She is such a funny kid!

Settling In

OK, so it has been a REALLY long time since I posted anything on here. February was a busy month. We moved to our new house the beginning of the month and have just been settling in for most of the month. It finally feels like home and we love our new place and all the added space.

New Layout

So I decided to change the look of our blog, but in the process of making the change I seem to have lost some of the content. Needless to say Emily isn't very happy with me... whoops. Well I hope everyone likes the new look. All is well right now with the Charter family!
