Mill Mountain Zoo

We needed a little family break and decided to spend an afternoon at Mill Mountain Zoo. Even though it was a really small zoo the children had lots of fun. It was just about the right size for them. They didn't get overloaded and really enjoyed the freedom of walking around on their own. Logan was so funny. Every time he saw an animal he would shriek with excitement. We laughed and laughed at him all afternoon.
Logan and Sydney in the aviary.
This colorful guy is what they were after.
Sydney on the little train ride. What a silly girl.
Wild ride!
Before we went in the zoo we ate a picnic lunch just outside the gates. They had a nice picnic area with a fun playground and some great views.
Here is what Noah was up to during lunch:

Eat Your Veggies!!!

Our kids LOVE to eat broccoli. Sometimes we have to refuse to give them seconds of broccoli until they eat some of their other food. How backwards is that? Normally I will just give in and let them eat all the broccoli they want. They actually really like peas, carrots, green beans, and corn as well. I wonder how long they will continue to eat their veggies?
Here's the proof:

Big Boy

I dressed Noah in some "big boy" clothes the other day and man did he look so cute. I can't believe how fast they grow and change. That shirt is a size 3 months (it runs really small though) and this will probably be the only time he wears it because it is too small already. Man, I wish I could bottle his baby-ness.

Helping Mommy Out and a Sweet Kiss.

Sydney and Logan have been helping me out lots lately. They especially love to help Noah with his bottle. He only gets a few of them and right now they love to be involved as much as possible. I wonder how long that will last. Here they are taking turns feeding him. Noah is so patient to put up with the interesting eating positions and milk spilled all over his face.

I also captured this cute moment between Logan and Noah. How sweet! I love these little boys!

That is Some Sweet Hair!!!!

All of my babies have been born with a head full of hair. It is one of my favorite things when my babies are newborns. I always get comments on their hair. I think that it adds a little personality. I just love it!!!

Father Daughter CampOut

Heath and Sydney went to our ward's father/daughter camp out the last weekend in August. Sydney had been looking forward to it for weeks. We borrowed a tent and lots of camping gear from my brother and we even borrowed a cool sleeping bag for Sydney. She had a great time with her dad and all of her "friends" from church. She played and played and played some more. Heath said she was up until 11:30pm in the tent watching DVD's (yep we know how to rough it) and chatting with her daddy. She was so busy that Heath had a hard time catching her on camera. If you look hard you can see her on the right of the the following picture.

The next morning Sydney got to go swimming in the lake. She had a great time telling me all about her trip with daddy. She can hardly wait till she gets to go camping again.

I Want a Turn!

The most common question at my house these days is, "can I hold Noah?" Several times a day I hear this request and depending on what is going on at the time I occasionally allow the children to take their turn holding Noah. Logan really likes to hold him and gets upset if Sydney is holding him and he hasn't had a chance to hold him first. Here are the children taking a turn holding Noah.

Doesn't Logan look like such a big boy.

Such a good big sister!

Logan is pretty upset that Sydney is holding Noah and he isn't. Poor kid!

Yep, I've Got My Hands Full!!

Full of Love!

Another Binky Baby

Noah likes his binky just as much as his older siblings. I love having "binky babies." So convenient and good for quieting little ones. Plus I can throw it out one day and not have to worry about thumb sucking. I like binkies and my binky babies. Here is Noah enjoying his bink.

Baby Noah

Here are a few pictures of Noah over the past few weeks. We love having him here and home. It is certainly an adjustment to have 3 babies, but we are adjusting and love having our growing family all together.

SWEET BOY!!!
